Bracelet Engraving
Bracelets have a history of being engraved, including the traditional Speidel ID bracelet and the bangle bracelet. Engraved medical bracelets are important for some people to have if they suffer from severe health issues and acts as an alert to others. Other types of bracelets are given as special gifts and can be further personalized with one-of-a-kind messages.
Identification Bracelet & Medical Alert ID Bracelet Engraving
ID bracelets are common to be engraved. People like to have a name or initials on the front with a date and/or "I Love You" on the back. There are so many possibilities and reasons people choose to have or give an ID bracelet. A medical ID bracelet is common for people with diabetes or who are allergic to medications. In an emergency room, if having a medical ID bracelet could help in a life-or-death situation, then having one is a must.
Bangle Bracelet Engraving
Bangle bracelets are the hardest to engrave. Most bangles have a design around the outside of the bracelet, so we engrave on the inside. With the price of gold going higher, the jeweler keeps making the bangle bracelet thinner and thinner. We have had to switch to etching the bracelet so we don't dent the bracelet in the engraving process. The nice thing is we have a lot of room for engraving (etching), because we can go all around the inside of the bracelet.
Cuff Bracelet Engraving
Cuff bracelets usually have a wide band going around. This is perfect for doing an interlocking monogram engraving on the cuff bracelet. Almost everybody wants a personal message or a date engraved on the back side. Here we are limited by how much we can open the cuff bracelet for engraving.
