Engraving
Most of the time we engrave the back of the watches. The back is usually some type of steel and usually engraves very well. The only problem is who ever designed the watch - never thought about engraving the back. You will find all sorts of logos, printing and other writing to interfere with engraving a name and date on the back of the watch. This is where we get creative. A lot of watches will stick something right in the center. Here we usually engrave the name above and date below.
Other watches fill up the whole center. If there is enough room before the edge of the back - we engrave around the diameter of the watch back.
Very few watches have a wide enough link for engraving. If they do, it is by where you latch the watch band. This is the last place you want to engrave, but with no other choice, this is an option. Watch bands get scratched up over time and the engraving becomes harder to read. The back of the watch, the stays looking good for years to come.
Graduation Watch Engraving
Here we usually engrave the graduate's name, School initials and graduation date. If there is room - Congratulations or some other engraving would be nice.
Retirement Watch Engraving
The retiree's name, business name and retirement date are the usual things to engrave. If you have room on your watch - "Congratulations on your Retirement" is a nice addition.

Shipping
If you are not in Southeastern Michigan, it is OK to ship your engraving job to us. Make sure you include: what you want engraved, your name, address, phone number and email address. We will contact you with a quote and suggestions for engraving. Once you approve the order we will ask you for a credit card.
Shipping Note: Make sure your engraving job is well padded! We don't want any damage to your precious merchandise.
